Mental Exam Requested

Just released today:

Nicholas Horner’s attorney has requested his client undergo a mental health examination to determine his competency. The reason for the examination would be to determine if Horner understands what he did and if he was capable of distinguishing right from wrong on the day of the shootings. In addition the evaluation would determine if Horner understands the charges against him and if he can participate in his defense.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I've just seen this and I am sickened to hear of yet another family destroyed by PTSD. Please know there are thousands of people praying for you and who know what you're dealing with. My father had PTSD before I was born. I've lived with it and seen what it can do. Please feel free to email if you need an ear. Much love to you!

My prayers are with you and your family. I am the wife of a deployed soldier and ptsd is a bigger fear then anything else. Just know that you have many many people out there praying for you, people writing you hate mail have absolutely no clue what you and other military families are dealing with.

Hello, my prayers are with you. I myself as wellas my husband (deceased) had PTSD due to another war our contry was in (VietNam). Believe me when I say that it is a hell like nothing else, both for the veterans and their families. Please know that there are others out here praying for this to end and hopefully for your husband to come home, although broken. I know the families that he has affected want closure, but putting him away for life or worse is not the right answers to get. I amsending prayers and hugs to you and yours. Bonita

I am worried about the results because ths PTSD is a every now and then occurance and may not come on while the testing is being done. and not show the true results at that time. I know from experience with my Ex.
